We offer 3 different groups that can be used to supplement your existing therapy or as a more affordable alternative.
Our supportive groups, help you connect with others and learn more about yourself. Sharing in a safe, judgment-free space can boost accountability and overall well-being, increasing your chances of lasting recovery.

To get started with one of our groups you will need to call us or fill our our new client form so that we may determine if our groups are a good fit for you and to discuss any concerns or questions you may have. We can also provide referrals to other groups if you need additional support.
Our Current Groups
HRAA – Harm Reduction and Abstinence Group
This virtual zoom group is for people who want to minimize harm from drug or alcohol use or maintain abstinence.
About our Harm Reduction Group
Whether you’re looking to change your relationship with alcohol or drugs, have already started, or aren’t ready to make changes yet, our online group offers a comfortable, confidential space for support.
We practice harm reduction, focusing on minimizing the risks of substance use rather than strictly promoting abstinence.
Our fun and relaxed environment prioritizes honesty and care, helping you with goals like reducing drinking, avoiding cocaine, cutting back on opioids, or even achieving full sobriety. Join us to learn techniques and gain support tailored to your needs.
Goals of the group are for members to:
- better understand yourself and how you relate to others
- understand triggers, cravings, cues and individual patterns of use
- learn safe drug and alcohol behaviors, explore one’s relationship to substances
- explore changes in use patterns and consider abstinence or experimenting with abstinence
- make healthy connections with others consider building social connection
- talk about healthy ways to cope with stress, cravings, emotions and cognitions
- process and consider the changing world around us- be informed about addiction and other mental health processes

Long Term Recovery Group
An in-person group for men and women who identify as having addiction or compulsive behaviors and are working on longer term therapy issues.
About our Long Term Recovery Group
Most of our current members are engaged in individual therapy with us or another therapist, bringing insight, motivation, professionalism, and articulation to the group.
While many also attend 12-step fellowships or other support groups, some participate exclusively in this group. Members range from those with 5 to 19 years of sobriety to those still working towards sobriety.
As an advanced therapy group, we address not only addiction but also broader therapy issues such as relationships, stress, self-esteem, family dynamics, and other psychological concerns.
Goals of the group are for members to:
- better understand yourself and how you relate to others and make important life decisions
- understand triggers, cravings, cues and individual patterns of use
- make healthy connections with others consider building social connection
- process and consider the changing world around us
- seek greater awareness through cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, family of origin, humanistic and integrative eclectic approaches

Young Adult HRAA Group
This virtual zoom group is for young adults, age approx. 16-22 who want to manage their addiction, achieve sobriety or minimize harm from drug or alcohol use.
About our Young Adult Harm Reduction and Abstinence Group
Members focus on understanding the role that drugs or alcohol may play in their lives and explore obstacles to recovery related to being a young adult.
This group can offer a comfortable and confidential place online to talk, learn and get support from others.
It’s a fun, relaxed group which is essential if people want to make changes.
Goals of the group are for members to:
- better understand yourself and how you relate to others
- understand triggers, cravings, cues and individual patterns of use
- learn safer drug and alcohol behaviors, explore one’s relationship to substances
- consider abstinence or experimenting with abstinence
- make healthy connections with others consider building social connection
- talk about healthy ways to cope with stress, cravings, emotions and cognitions- be informed about addiction and other mental health processes
