About Me
With over ten years of experience, I provide personalized, evidence-based care—supporting each client’s unique path to healing with compassion and respect.
I’ve gained experience across inpatient care, residential rehab, community services, and outpatient therapy. This variety has allowed me to work with people from diverse backgrounds and develop a broad skill set. These experiences shape how I approach therapy today.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe therapy is a collaborative process based on respect and trust. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, I meet clients where they are and work with them to create treatment aligned with their values and goals. Because every person is different, I focus on what motivates each client and use that to guide our work.
I also aim to create a safe space where clients can explore tough emotions, build self-awareness, and grow. To support this, I teach skills like mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. My background in creative writing often informs my work, especially when expressive or narrative techniques help clients.
My training emphasizes harm reduction and recovery-oriented cognitive therapy. I approach each client without judgment, knowing recovery isn’t the same for everyone. Healing happens best when clients feel empowered, respected, and truly seen.
