About Me
My name is Molly and I have been working in Philadelphia in the behavioral health field for over ten years.
My professional experience spans a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient care, residential rehabilitation, community-based services, and outpatient therapy. I have been privileged to work with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. These opportunities have allowed me to develop a broad set of clinical skills and deepen my understanding of multiple therapeutic approaches, all of which inform my current practice.
My Approach to Therapy
I view therapy as a collaborative process built on mutual respect and trust. I am committed to meeting clients where they are and working alongside them to shape the direction of treatment in a way that aligns with their values and goals. I pay close attention to what energizes and motivates each client, and I incorporate those insights to support meaningful and sustainable progress.
I strive to create a space where clients can explore difficult emotions, build self-awareness, and feel supported in their growth. I also emphasize skill development in areas such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and creative coping strategies. My background in creative writing and storytelling often informs my work, particularly when clients benefit from expressive or narrative-based techniques.
Much of my clinical training has focused on harm reduction and recovery-oriented cognitive therapy. I approach each client without judgment, with an understanding that recovery is not a one-size-fits-all process. I believe that healing occurs most effectively when clients feel empowered and fully seen in their individual experiences.
